Dani Strauss received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where she studied modern dance, anthropology, and women’s studies. After a year of teaching high school in the south pacific, she decided to return to more familiar ground and returned home to this beloved town with a new sense of purpose and commitment to community health activism. Dani is delighted to share her time as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the CFAR CODE Office and the Research Assistant for a quality of life study in the UNC Craniofacial Center. Dani designs and develops the CFAR’s social, print, and web-based media strategies, and manages the CFAR’s online presence. Dani writes the CFAR newsletter, manages the CFAR services database, and assists with the CFAR’s mentorship activities.
